Payment of Fees Policy

Kings Pre-School is a charity run pre-school and therefore non-profit making. Fees collected help to pay wages, premises fees, replace equipment and resources.

Fees are set by Kings Pre-School committee and are reviewed annually. We aim to keep our fees as low as possible in order to be accessible to all members of the community. Fees are set by session. There is also an extra charge for your child to come into the early morning session and the lunch club. Fees are payable by either cash or cheque. Cheques should be made payable to Kings Pre-School. On your child's induction session you will be given the opportunity to agree to pay your fees, weekly, monthly or termly.

Fees are payable in advance and during absence such as sickness or holidaYS. If for some unforeseen reason pre-school has to close we will not charge you for the sessions closed. In cases of prolonged absence parents should contact the manager and committee to discuss fee payment. If you need to discuss help with the cost of childcare the manager has additional information that maybe useful.

The term after a child turns 3 years old they are eligible for government funding and you will be given a form to complete. Kings Pre-School will claim your funding and from then on you will not need to pay session fees. This funding is for 5, 2.5 hour sessions per week and any extra session will be payable at the normal rate. Lunch club and early morning sessions will still be charged at the normal rate. Children who are government funded are asked to pay a minimal fee towardS the cost of their snack each week.

Kings Pre-School are happy to accept workplace childcare vouchers. If your company offers this please speak to the manager who will register Kings Pre-School with your company scheme.

Each child's attendance at Kings Pre-School is conditional upon continued payment of fees.
